A multinational company aims to develop its relationship with a few key suppliers into ‘innovation partnerships’. The company already identified the candidate suppliers and asked Ideas-en-Route to develop the framework for collaboration with these partners.
In this case, I serve as sparring partner for the R&D leadership, and work with the relevant functions (Marketing, R&D, Supply Management, Sales, Patents) inside both sides of the alliance to develop the appropriate legal and operational framework for supplier innovation.
